Rehearsal Rate
$50
The hourly rehearsal rate comes with all of the essentials upon request: a tables, chairs, music stands, and access to our sound system. Looking to elevate your work with lighting? Take a look at our add-on packages. Whether you're running a writers' group, teaching a workshop, or devising a show, booking at our rehearsal rate will give you the environment and resources you need to roll up your sleeves and get to work!
Day Rate
$325
Booking at the day rate gives you exclusive access to our Black Box space for its full operational hours (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm), including our lighting and sound systems for the duration of your booking. Access to our ticketing system, and audience setup with front of house support may be arranged by purchasing our add-on packages. Looking to tech your show in the morning before opening it to an audience in the afternoon? C’est possible! Book at the day rate to give yourself the time and resources you need to bring your project to life.
Multi-Day Rate
$325 a day
If you’re looking to stay with us for an extended period of time, book our Multi-Day package that includes everything in our regular Day Rate. You will have access to the Black Box including lighting and sound during our current operational hours (Mon-Friday, 10am-6pm) and storage of rehearsal materials when we lock the space at night.
Performance Rate
$125+$50 per additional hour
Our Performance booking is best for artists who need a minimum of 3 hours in the space and expect an audience. This package includes lighting and sound access, as well as use of our in-house ticketing system. We provide Front of House support and will cover set up and break down for seating.
Add-Ons
Sound Package
Access to our Yamaha Digital Mixing Console Model TF1 and both of our Meyer UPM-1P Powered Speakers with support from DBS staff.
Ticketing and Front of House Package
Access to our in-house ticketing system with Front of House coverage for your event.
Audience Support
Drama Book Shop staff will set up and break down seating arrangements for your event.
